These light and fluffy dumplings are great with chicken soup.
Pioneer Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix
chicken or beef broth
- Combine Pioneer Baking Mix and poultry seasoning. Stir in milk until soft dough forms.
- Drop by teaspoonful into boiling broth or soup.
- Cover and simmer 5 to 8 minutes. Serve hot.
Lower-fat option: Substitute 1 1/4 cups of Pioneer Low Fat Biscuit Mix for the 2 cups of Original or Buttermilk Baking Mix. 1/2 cup of skim milk may be substituted for whole milk.
