It began with a single mill on the banks of the San Antonio River in 1851. C.H. Guenther founded Pioneer with a simple promise: to bring the finest quality flour to his neighbors. Over 170 years and four generations later, we are still family-owned and dedicated to that same standard. From those early sacks of flour to the baking mixes in your pantry today, our history is kneaded into every bite. But we didn't stop at flour; we used that milling expertise to revolutionize home cooking with our premium gravy and biscuit mixes.
